Presentation by Rohde & Schwarz: Encryption Systems

Security issues in electronic communications are nowadays very important, particularly because of the exchange of large volume of valuable confidential information. Rohde & Schwarz provides outstanding solutions for secure and reliable use of the modern communications with encryption products that support various technologies, like PSTN, ISDN, GSM, IP, leased lines and wideband systems.

Netfon together with Rohde & Schwarz organised on 19th December 2006 a presentation in a  Nicosia hotel, at which the complete encryption product portfolio of Rohde & Schwarz was presented. Particular emphasis was given on the ISDN product that is currently widely used by the EU and NATO. The Rohde & Schwarz encryption products are currently providing protection to numerous national and governmental entities in Europe and in particular the European Union and NATO. They meet all security requirements up to “Top Secret” and are certified by the appropriate German National Organisation, NATO and the EU.

The presentation was attended by a large number of government officials from various related disciplines and the regulatory authorities. Lunch was offered at the end of the session, during which the participants had the opportunity to discuss further their encryption issues.
